Ishikuro Laboratory is committed to educate students in the field of integrated micro- and nano electronics and provide key support in passing mandatory classes. The laboratories atmosphere is a fruitful ground to develop once own interest under the professional supervision of the professor and senior students. A flat hierarchy structure allows close teamwork between undergraduate and graduate students. Laboratory members are divided into three research groups directly guided by Prof. Ishikuro.

These groups are related to one of the main research fields of Prof. Ishikuro. Heavy focus lies on independent research work which is a key ability for the later career. However, students have the opportunity to present their work progress in a weekly meeting. Which is a very valuable asset to reflect about once own work and learn how to manage and schedule its own tasks. Moreover, during these meetings Prof. Ishikuro provides guidance and help in difficult situations.
